Game Changer FC will debut their sparkling new kit when they host Sheffield Trinity ton Saturday in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Fair Play League – kick-off is at 10:30 AM.
The Farm Road club will wear their brand-new kit of red shirt, black shorts, and stocks. The shirt is made by Puma and will see the sponsor ‘Caring for Kendray,’ on the front!
It will be the Barnsley based side first game in three weeks after previous fixtures against Stocksbridge Park Steels Development FC, and at Swallownest Bethesda FC were postponed due to a frozen and waterlogged pitch. Changer were defeated 9-1 at JBM Sports on 25th November in their last outing.
The Oranges have struggled to come to grips in their debut season in the Fair Play League. After nine matches played, they have failed to pick up a point, though they have games in hand over majority of the surrounding opposition.
The two sides have met once previously. This was in the Fair Play League on 9th September at Westfield High School where Sheffield Trinity won 2-1 despite the Oranges taking the lead through Chris Horne.
Sheffield Trinity was formed in 2008 and participated the 2022-23 season in the Sheffield & District Fair Play League (Division Three), and regularly play their home games at Westfield School in the S20 region of the Steel City. They had a miserable league campaign last season, ending the campaign with ten consecutive defeats, and finished the campaign 7th in the league (out of 8 teams). They accomplished seven points, winning twice throughout the season, both at home, against Zion New Boys (5-3 on 1st October), and 3-2 against bottom of the table, Yorkshire Wanderers (4th February).
Trinity lay eleventh in the table having accumulated two victories over Game Changer and Zion New Boyz on 11th November. They were defeated 3-2 at home to Dronfield FC last weekend and will undoubtedly aiming to claim a league double over this weekends opposition.
