Game Changer return to football action this Saturday as they host Zion New Boys in the 10.30 AM kick-off in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Fair Play League. The Oranges have enjoyed a fortnight’s grace from action due to Mosborough Yellow’s cup involvement last weekend.
The Changers team are searching for their first Fair Play League victory following defeats to Swallownest Bethesda (lost 2-11), Sheffield Trinity (lost 1-2), and Sheffield International (lost 1-9). They sit unpleasantly at the foot of the table following Yorkshire Wanderers 1-1 draw at home to Doncaster Vulcan last weekend.

The two sides have met once previously. On, 18th April, Zion were victorious by five goals to two – with Brandon Jones (penalty), and Jesse Payne were amongst the goals for the Oranges.
Zion moved into midtable after they registered their first league victory of the campaign last weekend. They were defeated 4-0 on the opening day of the season at King’s Athletic, before drawing 2-2 against Byron House. Since then, they lost 5-3 to Doncaster Vulcan, before goals from Mark Jevons, Matt Duff, and David Sinclair was enough to ensure a 3-2 victory over Dronfield FC.
